The Kentlands Clubhouse front desk staff is made up of diversified ages, high school students through retirees. This work experience has opened our eyes to all the community activities occurring around us. Prior to working here, most of us never realized the full extent of the liveliness surrounding the Kentlands Clubhouse. The community is hardworking and kind; the festivities are spirited and frequent; and the sense of belonging is overwhelming.
The staff (Alaina, Barb, Elena, Ethan, Joe, Tobias and Julia from our neighboring community, Lakelands) celebrated the joys of the holidays and employment by attending an annual Staff Appreciation Dinner at Ted’s Bulletin in November hosted by long-time Office Manager and Kentlands resident Sandy Al-Nazer. The dinner was a fun opportunity to get to know our co-workers outside of our work environment. We shared tons of laughs and learned a bit more about what goes on in each of our lives. We all get along very well and we’ve had the chance to build great relationships.
By working at the Clubhouse we have gotten to meet many residents who are very friendly and learned so much about what goes on in the community. Not only do we love being a resident of the Kentlands, we also enjoy being able to work at the Clubhouse and assist other residents as well.
