Imagine an opportunity to do a bit of Holiday Shopping without leaving Kentlands, support the Kentlands Community Foundation‘s (KCF) efforts to bring the art world to Main Street, and find a unique gift in the process. If that sounds like something good, stop by the KCF’s “pop up arts store” in the old Persiano Gallery location at 201 Market Street West; the corner of Market Street West and Center Point Way and across from the back of Vasili’s Kitchen.
The Holiday Art Market, a team effort by Kimco and the KCF, has just five more days to run including today: December 15th, 16th, 17th, 22nd, and 23rd.
Today’s artists are Anne Cherubim (abstracts), Roxana Rojas (collage), Terry Lynch (carved wood boxes), and Jaree Donnelly (photography) who will also create earrings while you wait for a donation to the KCF’s artist gallery and workspace goals.
Hiral Joshi (mixed media) will also be there until around 6 PM when she will leave to teach her Art Night Out: Holiday Fun! workshop at the Arts Barn.
The selection of possible gifts is eclectic: oil paintings to tree skirts with a side order of jewelry thrown in. It’s local, it’s fun, it’s a bit different, and it’s for a good cause so stop by, look, and enjoy one more little thing that makes Kentlands unique.
