In celebration of Gaithersburg’s Annual Green Up Day

Kentlands Community Foundation GO GREEN group is organizing the annual Kentlands community cleanup day on Saturday, April 14th 9-12 pm.

Working with the City of Gaithersburg and the Alice Ferguson Foundation annual Potomac River Watershed Cleanup, GO GREEN wants to make neighbors and volunteers of all ages aware that trash that you pick up will help keep the Muddy Branch watershed water healthier as then this water runs into the Potomac, the source of our drinking water.

Students, come get SSL HOURS and spend time outdoors! Come with your family, friends and neighbors.

Where:

Kentlands Clubhouse  

485 Tschiffely Square Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20878

Pick-up sticks and bags outside the clubhouse and sign in.

 

What:

Pick up trash around the lakes, in the parks and in the neighborhood.
