Community Management Corporation
The Kentlands Clubhouse is staffed and operated by Community Management Corporation (CMC) which serves as the KCA management agent. Most day- to-day management operations are handled by staff who can address issues and answer questions, except those related to individual assessment accounts. CMC collects assessments, pays bills, supervises contractors, maintains the common areas of the community and provides administrative and support services for the Board of Trustees and other administrative bodies established by the Assembly's legal documents.
For financial questions about individual assessments, please call CMC Corporate Offices in Virginia at 703-631-7200.
Beth Brittingham has been in association management for eighteen years, the majority of that time spent on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Delaware. She has achieved one of the highest designations bestowed by Community Associations Institute (CAI), the professional organization for the association management industry, the PCAM (Professional Community Association Manager). In those fifteen years, she has managed condominiums, garden style units, ocean front units, and home owner’s associations, both gated and non-gated.
Three years ago, she had the opportunity to relocate to South Carolina to manage a 3000 homeowner community in Columbia. The property included a 200 acre man made lake, an elementary school, a middle school, a YMCA and a retail center. Fifteen months prior to arriving at the Kentlands, Beth was asked to fill a vacated manager’s position, with the same company, at a gated community in Mt. Pleasant, SC, 15 miles north of Charleston. In addition to two manned gates, the property also included 70 ponds, an amenities center, and currently has 2100 homeowners.
Beth moved full circle back to Maryland to be closer to family. She has a married 30 year old son in Charles Town, WV, and a 32 year old married daughter, who recently moved from DC to Chicago.
